It's my first time to travel out of the country and I considered Singapore as my first destination because airfare was inexpensive and I heard loads of good stuff about the country. Singapore is a small country situated next to Malaysia. It's a powerhouse nation not just in southeast Asia but in the rest of the world.

Here is my 4 days and 3 nights itinerary for your reference:
Day 1
We departed from Manila around 1:30 pm at NAIA Terminal 3 via Cebu Pacific Air.
|
NAIA Terminal 3 |
We arrived in Singapore around 4:55 pm at Changi Budget Terminal. The terminal was very clean and organized considering that it's not the main airport. We took the airport bus that brought us to Changi Terminal 2.

From Terminal 2, we took the SMRT to Aljunied station. I recommend you get EZ-link to avoid the hassle of buying a ticket every time you ride SMRT. You can also use the card to buy items at 7-eleven.
|
Changi SMRT Station |
From Aljunied station, it's a 10-minute walk to 23 Lorong 20 Geylang, where our hotel is located. Geylang district is known as Singapore's red light district, who cares? It has several affordable hotels and is just 15 minutes away from Central Business district, an ideal place for travelers on a tight budget.

We checked in at Hotel 81 Lucky. The staff were accommodating and speak English fluently. Our room was huge, clean, and has a nice view of Geylang District.
We took a rest for a couple of minutes and headed to Vivo City, one of Singapore's famous malls. Vivo City has a stunning exterior and offers loads of establishments. We didn't explore the entire mall since we're exhausted and starving. We had dinner at one of the food stalls in the food court section.

Day 2
We spent almost the entire day at Universal Studios. From Aljunied, we took SMRT to Harbour Front station. At Vivo City lobby 3, we took Sentosa Express to Water station where Universal Studios is located. We purchased our ticket online including Express Pass.

Universal Studios is a huge theme park that offers several rides and attractions for all ages. I enjoyed Battlestar Gallactica, Revenge of the Mummy, and Lights! Camera! Action! We also watched Waterworld, an attraction based on the hit 1995 film with the same title.

We ended the day watching Songs of the Sea at Siloso beach. It's a multimedia show that showcases dazzling pyrotechnics, computer effects, breathtaking lights, and sounds.

Day 3
Our first route was the Sands SkyPark Public Observation Deck. From Aljunied, we took SMRT to Marina Bay. Marina Bay Sands is famous for the boat-shaped structure on top of its 3 towers. Although the view from the top was breathtaking, I didn't quite enjoy it since I'm afraid of heights.
